History Of Rohru

Rohru is a place in India state of Himachal Pradesh located at the longitude of 77.75 and the latitude of 31.22.On 25 January, 1971 Himachal Pradesh Act was declared as a separated state by parliament and Shimla was a district of the state with Rohru as one town. Initially Rohru was a part of Bhushar state but later it has been declared as an individual Tehsil by Himachal Government. Rohru as a part of Shimla, was inhabited by the prehistoric mendating back to about 2 million year. Rohru is very popular for its high quality Apple production. Rohru produces the maximum crop as compared to any other Apples are exported to the different parts of the country and overseas as well.
